With her presidency at risk, Dilma Rousseff's decision to bring former President Lula da Silva back into the fold has further inflamed her critics.
Legislators voted to "indefinitely postpone" the measure. In other words, it's dead.

She hasn't even secured the Democratic nomination.
If the Bush administration would have at least acted like they might have done something wrong, maybe we could have moved on. But if Cheney is going on national TV to endorse torture, he has tied the hands of the country.
