Erick Erickson, Noted Sexist, Slams Donald Trump For Being Sexist

The RedState editor-in-chief is fond of telling women to get in the kitchen and cook for him.

RedState’s Erick Erickson disinvited Donald Trump from a conservative gathering after the reality TV star implied Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly was menstruating during the presidential debate. “But there are even lines blunt talkers and unprofessional politicians should not cross,” he wrote in explaining his decision. “Decency is one of those lines.”

“I just don't want someone on stage who gets a hostile question from a lady and his first inclination is to imply it was hormonal. It just was wrong,” Erickson added.

But he’s just fine with calling Michelle Obama a “Marxist harpy”  and Wendy Davis “abortion Barbie.”

And even a cursory search through his Twitter feed shows he’s not far from Trump on the sexism scale. Despite all his pious rhetoric about “decency,” Erickson is obsessed with telling women they need to get into the kitchen and cook for him and saying that feminists are just too ugly to get a date.

Sure, Erickson has apologized for his comments about Michelle Obama  -- and for calling David Souter “the only goat fucking child molester to ever serve on the Supreme Court.” But he's never apologized for all the other sexist garbage he's spewed.

“Decency,” yeah.
